Penarth Pier – RICS Award for Community Benefits

With over 4,300 trainee hours provided over a 46 week period, we were recognised by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and we won the Community Benefits award for 2014.

  • 19 two-week work placements for Apprentice Carpenters from Cardiff and the Vale college
  • 4 four-week work experience placements for students at Cardiff and the Vale college
  • 1 thirteen-week work placement for a local bricklayer
  • 1 labourer and 1 bricklayer hired through targeted recruitment for the 46 weeks duration
