Our Social Value Manager, Freya Church, ensures a holistic approach to provision of Social Value for all our Clients – whether public or private sector.

Freya reports directly to Martyn Osborne, our Deputy Managing Director, and takes a hands-on approach to ensuring the best outcomes for all local communities where we live and work. Since she joined R&M Williams in Summer 2023, Freya has taken our existing commitments to the next level, starting with a formalised Social Value Policy, building new partnerships and implementing a Social Value First approach within our tendering process, ensuring our commitments are communicated to all our prospective clients, regardless of tender requirements.

As we work in the homes of people from all walks of life, having a robust Social Value Policy and clear commitments on each contract empowers our people to always keep Social Value at the heart of everything we do, by encouraging them to think creatively when it comes to giving back to the community, and treat all our customers and neighbors respect, kindness and care.

Our employees can recommend great causes in their local areas, offer up two paid volunteering days per year and submit suggestions for community engagement and benefit days to our Social Value Manager directly.
