The safety of our people, our subcontractors and the public is our first priority, and we foster a culture where everyone is engaged on safety, with all our staff, operatives, management and directors sharing responsibility for safe delivery of works.
Our people are empowered and supported to do the right thing when it comes to keeping themselves, their colleagues and the public safe.
Ultimately, we want everyone who works for us, lives in or near our worksites or just pass by our workspaces to feel safe and get home safe each day.
Some of the memberships, accreditations and certifications that inform our H&S approach
As principal contractors, evidencing adoption of best practice in our areas of work is essential to demonstrate that we hold our people and our subcontractors to the highest standards. This includes incorporating CDM principles into every facet of our work, and through memberships, accreditation, training and certification, keeping abreast of new developments.

Our HSEQ Manager, Tyrone Davies works with our operational teams to ensure all projects are planned with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality concerns at the forefront of everything we do.
Tyrone reports directly to Mark Williams and involves all stakeholders in the promotion and execution of safe projects and a positive health and safety culture. Tyrone has a passion for proactive monitoring and working closely with employees with the aim of continual improvement.
As we complete many contracts for local councils, we work in the homes of people from all walks of life, so we emphasise the importance of Customer Service and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Children training. This empowers our people to always do the right thing by treating everyone with respect, kindness and care.
We also endorse and contribute to the creation of a network of defibrillators in the communities we serve. Right now, we purchased defibrillators for our Swansea Palace Theatre and Pembroke Dock sites. Once we complete the works, we will donate these to the local community to be placed where they can do most good.
