We delivered the refurbishment of the Phantom Heads Dental Training Facility on behalf of Cardiff and the Vale University Hospital. during the hight of the COVID19 pandemic, on behalf of Sodexo, working for the Wye Valley Health Board Trust.

The works involved refurbishment of two floors comprising the dental teaching area, to create 40 new Phantom Head chairs positions, with associated laboratory, office areas and teaching zones. We also completed new service installation, along with associated wall and floor finishes and Asbestos removal and demolition, all of which took place in close proximity to the University Hospital of Wales live student and patient areas.

The works were successfully completed on time to facilitate the new student intake and involved close coordination with both UHWHB and specialist Dental contractors Adec and Dental Style. As the contract was successful, the Trust engaged our services to undertake refurbishment of the cafeteria and installation of a new Dental Suite and X-ray facility at Llandough Hospital, while completing refurbishment of Student teaching area.
