R&M Williams were employed by Willmott Dixon to carry out internal decoration works to the large concert hall, theatre and numerous classrooms and dance halls throughout the building.

Despite a very challenging programme, R&M Williams completed the contract within the 6 month period. R&M were key to delivering an excellent quality building, which our client is really proud of.’ Neal Stephens – Managing Director – Willmott Dixon

‘The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama was a fast track contract and to enable the client to have occupation of areas of the building at the earliest opportunity, sectional handovers were introduced. R&M Williams gave every assistance in helping Willmott Dixon to achieve these handovers, particularly in their flexible approach to labour demands. Also, although the works were fast track, the quality of works was maintained to an excellent standard.’ – Alan Pitman – Willmott Dixon

R&M Williams Ltd carried out painting and decorating for our client Vinci Construction, to the new build Cynon Valley Hospital which provides local primary care support for the residents of the Cynon Valley and local communities. The 18,500sqm, two storey building occupies approximately 6.5 hectares (16.1 acres) and features 128 rehabilitation and intermediate care beds, childrens services, a supporting therapies unit, outpatients clinics, community dental services and a mental health unit for community out-patient and elderly in-patient care.

Quality issues were paramount to this successful contract and in-house checking procedures were in place and were developed in conjunction with client-driven initiatives. Our reputation and standing is only as good as the job we are currently undertaking. This underpins RMW philosophy and ensures optimum quality, delivery to time and within pre-agreed cost parameters. RMW always target zero defects. This was achieved at Cynon Valley Hospital by checking and inspection processes throughout the contract process and a proactive and responsive approach from our experienced operatives.
